Today’s communications providers are serving voice, data and video consumers. The business user needs access to vital information on their fleets, industrial operations, inventory management and other connected systems. Many homes require their own networks to manage smart appliances, security systems and mobile devices. Wireline engineers are getting ready for ultra-high-speed broadband, building up fiber connections from the core to the edge and enabling mind-blurring data rates at the last mile.
We offer solutions that deploy a portfolio of products that lowers total cost of ownership with minimal floor space and superior cable management.
The Amphenol Network Solutions HyperX is a high-density interconnect or cross-connect ODF with up to 5,760 terminations. HyperX is a modular solution with an open architecture allowing you to scale your network as needed when incorporating Amphenol Network Solutions C2 Advanced Optical Modules (AOMs) within C2LINX, C2E, or C2X chassis. This solution allows for complete flexibility including incorporating other supplier chassis.
At the core, where the most terminations are necessary, the 4RU C2LINX is a fiber distribution panel that hosts 576 terminations. Our C-RAN connectivity solution optimizes floor space at the metro network level, integrating fiber connectivity and power distribution in a single rack. At the edge, the smaller C2LINX, C2E, or C2X chassis, along with LCX distribution panel options, are ideal for the fiber counts that get your end user connected and streaming large amounts of data.
At all points along the network, our WaveTrax fiber raceway ensures superior cable management. You know your fiber cable is protected and access is simplified. The WaveTrax cable raceway solution is an end-to-end, open-trough solution that reduces total cost of ownership. Contractor reports reveal WaveTrax components allow for 60% time saving on retrofits and 50% on new installations. The sturdy construction ensures fiber cable protection while maintaining 2” minimum bend radius protection through the cable path.
Manage your fiber
nrgSMART is a family of DC power management and monitoring products that provide network technicians with deep, actionable insight into power use on their network. Our nrgSMART products provide monitoring at the circuit level, not the feed level like most monitoring systems on the market. Circuit-level monitoring gives you powerful trend analysis and insights into your equipment performance. nrgSMART power management and monitoring systems give you data via SNMP and modbus on current, voltage, temperature, fuse ratings, low and high threshold limits, alarm status and system health. nrgSMART keeps your total cost of ownership down by identifying issues before, not when, they become a problem. Providing deep insight into your consumption, it leads to reduced truck rolls for non-critical equipment.
Choose SMART power
In a fiber-rich network, there are plenty of fiber assets to exploit in pursuing new customer opportunities. Despite this, a network operator must contend for every customer. Often, it is that provider that can provide a "futer proof" (i.e. fiber based) solution the quickest that will win the opportunity.
To help operators meet the goal of a fast install, Amphenol Network Solutions has designed a fiber collector terminal along with pre-connected fiber demarcation boxes, that facilitate a rapid fiber install in a high-rise or campus environment. The layered design of the box minimizes the amount of wall space needed in a building's telco closet, while also offering a lockable enclosure for both service provider and customer. Splicing is facilitated with our Universal Splice Tray, with its host of clever fiber management features. Effective use of these clever products will allow a service provider to quickly deploy a fiber solution for new or existing customers.
