Amphenol Network Solutions is excited to announce INTEGRATED nrgSMART TECHNOLOGY. nrgSMART technology is now an option with all of our new 1RU power distribution products. This new architecture allows direct network connection to each individual nrgSMART panel, or the capability to interconnect multiple nrgSMART panels over nrgNET serial cabling, with a single network connection. Combining our new integrated nrgSMART circuitry with our new connector design provides a simpler and faster integration with enhanced data capabilities, and a better experience for our customers.
Amphenol Network Solutions set an industry-first when it introduced Telect nrgSMARTTM technology. Products with nrgSMART technology monitor current at the individual circuit level, providing detailed information not available with feed-level monitoring or threshold-alarming like most other monitoring panels on the market. nrgSMART technology not only provides threshold alarms for current, voltage, and temperature, notifying you of issues BEFORE fuses or breakers trip, it reports current per individual circuit, total input bus current, as well as panel input voltage and data from external temperature probes. This extensive reporting and threshold alarming allows the user to determine the actual current usage, enables powerful trend analysis, and gives insight into equipment performance to identify issues before they become a problem.
All of our new 1RU panels are now available with nrgSMART circuit-level monitoring, and universal operating voltage (±12/24/48Vdc), giving you the flexibility to size your nrgSMART monitoring solution for ampacity, fuse or circuit breaker preference, or number of output circuits. Output power connectors speed your deployments and enhance your cable management. A 2RU high current panel is also available where you need to deploy a monitored high-current mini-BDFB.
nrgSMART allows you to monitor your energy usage at the circuit level providing a better understanding of your power use without sending a tech to a site to clamp each fuse panel.

Amphenol Network Solutions new integrated nrgSMART controller provides a clean, simple user interface that can be deployed in each 1RU nrgSMART panel. For those desiring a single connection point for multiple panels, the new integrated controller can coordinate and communicate data for up to 30 nrgSMART enabled PDUs. Panels are connected over a simple daisy chain connection. nrgSMART panels communicate circuit level current, voltage, temperature, alarm, and circuit threshold data. A simple HTML user interface provides access for a rich variety of settings, and data is communicated over standard SNMP.
Amphenol Network Solutions developed the BDFB-XLW with advanced circuit-level monitoring in response to large-scale facilities and data centers where longer cable runs are required. Measuring in at 32"L x 30"W x 84"H, the product features a larger opening on top to easily fit 64 750kcmil cables. Feed cables are separated from load cables for easier cable management. The side panels are removable and creates more space to access terminals. The larger footprint lines up cleanly in a row of data-center racks. nrgSMART circuit level monitoring provides for detailed threshold analysis and alarming of individual circuit voltage and current.
The Amphenol Network Solutions nrgBDFB-XLW 1000A Battery Distribution Fuse Bay includes up to eight panels per bay with each panel supporting a single feed with a maximum input rating of 1000A. Panels can be independently fed (8 feeds per BDFB) or can have their inputs bridged. Each panel contains 20 circuit positions for either bullet-style breakers or TFD fuse holders, providing up to 160 outputs per BDFB. The nrgBDFB operates at -48Vdc to support legacy and next-generation network applications.
