Hyperscale and Tier 1 Solution
Today’s datacenter fabric requires more and more fiber connectivity. Circuit counts are so high (and ever-increasing) that port count per square foot of facility space is among the top priorities of network engineers. Managing and maintaining organization of that fiber is paramount.
HyperX addresses this challenge directly, but also incorporates a higher degree of usability through comprehensive cable management and port accessibility when used with the C2LINX fiber distribution panel. Populating the HyperX frame with Amphenol Telect C2LINX panels maintains density while incorporating efficient, market leading cable management to enable the best port access.
In this configuration, HyperX supports up to 5,760 (LC) terminations in the 56” frame, or approximately 617 connections per square foot. (This includes cable management panels on each side of the frame, which effectively handle the large volume of optical cabling created in a high-density installation.)
Improved Cost per Square Foot
Calculating the overall investment of an ODF is a complex proposition. Do you include warehouse storage of unused patch panels waiting to be deployed?
