We asked Heidi a few questions about what it's like to work at Amphenol Network Solutions and learned about her extraordinary philanthropic work caring for injured wildlife in her area!
What is your role at Amphenol Network Solutions?
I'm the Sales Director for T-Mobile, Lumen (formerly CenturyLink), and Verizon Wireless NE region.
What three words would you use to describe our culture?
Customer-Centric, Teamwork, and Supportive
What do you like most about your role? What is the most challenging part of your role?
Collaborating with the customer to provide product solutions that bring their network true value is what I like most. The most challenging part is accepting an answer/response that hinders achieving the outcome or goal I'm working towards for the customer, but "Where there's a will, there's a way."
What advice do you have for prospective candidates?
Keep an open mind, ask questions, be sincere and honest.
What is your proudest moment at Amphenol Network Solutions?
Successfully adapting to a completely new customer market after Telect and All Systems Broadband merged to form Amphenol Network Solutions.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Caring for injured wildlife. I'm currently treating foxes for mange with support from Philadelphia Metro Wildlife and caring for a goose missing a foot due to fishing line entanglement. After encountering many injured birds affected by carelessly discarded monofilament fishing line, I began to organize clean-ups to remove some of the hazards and other pollution within wildlife areas.
What is your personal philosophy?
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
What is the one thing you can't live without?
A good conscience and my family, which includes my sweet 17-year-old cat, Cali.
